Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What actually happens in Advanced Electrolysis?

A. The tip of the finest, smallest probe possible is introduced along the line of the capillary and a tiny energy current is discharged. This `dries up` and destroys the vessel which often disappears as it is being treated. In the case of skin tags, the current destroys the vessels `feeding` the blemish, `starving` it of nourishment resulting in its eventual demise.

Q. Will my blemish return?

A. The treated blemish will not return but others may occur depending on the root cause.

Q. How long does it take and how many treatments will I require?

A. ACP treatments are safe and effective and offer instantaneous results in many cases. The length of the treatment very much depends on the problem. Each clients appointment will vary in time. The area worked on must not be overtreated  and your skin reaction will be monitored. The length of time in between treatments will be carefully considered as well as taking into account your requirements, needs and wishes.
